All Fibrelight maritime safety products are manufactured in the UK; they are constructed using carbon fibre (or occasionally fibreglass) rods enclosed in flanged tubular webbing which together create an incredibly strong structure. Fibrelight products are used globally by cruise lines, workboats, fishermen, navies, Special Forces, emergency services and the outdoor activity and rescue communities.
CQC is a world leading British based manufacturer of textile products with a long-standing history in design, development and production for the defence market.
Since 1948, CQC has provided high quality, robust, military personal equipment to the UK Ministry of Defence and many professional international militaries.
In recent years, CQC has diversified and has established itself as one of the UK experts in the design and manufacture of CBRN clothing as well as delivering the innovative Fibrelight range of maritime safety products, both of which have been delivered across the globe.

CQC’s R&D department worked continuously with the MoD to modify, update and improve Osprey based on feedback from those who used it in battle.
With many decades of experience working with the British Military, CQC has applied its design capabilities and high quality systems to design and deliver products for other governments, armies, police and security forces. As a result CQC is now leading the world in the design, development and innovation of new technologies and capabilities, delivering the very best soldier systems and safety products around the globe.
