This high protection, two-piece undergarment system, has been specifically designed and developed to provide a versatile solution to a range of various CBRN scenarios. Combining comfort and functionality, the SHIELD CPU is intended to be worn
in high threat CBRN environments, under a range of operational clothing & PPE, for example, Combat Uniform, Battle Dress Uniform, Public Order PPE, or Business Attire etc.
The SHIELD System comes complete with CBRN gloves, socks and a separate ‘hood & cowl’ for integration with a range of respirators. Manufactured from a unique stretch carbon fabric, the CPU is worn close to the body giving the SHIELD an extremely high degree of comfort. When donned as a system with the supplied ancillary items, the SHIELD offers the same protection as a standard CBRN oversuit.
