CQC was approached by Mark Smith the founder of BCE Defensive, an early startup exploring the innovations and potential of improving protective garments for the defence and security industry, to bring a much-awaited concept to life. CQC has developed prototypes and samples of BCE’s ballistic neck-gaiter (NG-Serpa) which was recently tested within a combat simulated environment. The ballistic neck-gaiter was put through its paces for thermal-loading, breathing allowance and general ergonomics. The neck-gaiter received very positive feedback highlighting multiple benefits of its unique design.
