CQC has been working with Jacob Lockwood, a serving British army infantry SNCO, to help develop and manufacture his Lock-Harness stretcher. The design is based on Jacob’s operational experience and enables a casualty to be recovered by a single operator, with both the casualty and the operator being able to bring their weapons to bear during the evacuation.
The stretcher has been further developed to allow an individual soldier to easily carry 2x NLAW or a javelin missile and Command Launch Unit (CLU). The stretcher is currently being trialled by British army soldiers, German specialist operators and Ukrainian troops in combat
