The Sentinel daysack is our most complex daysack, consisting of two large compartments offering 45 litres of storage: at the rear, there is an expandable compartment for a manpack radio; this compartment compresses to a width of less than an inch when not in use, providing further stability for the pack. The main compartment is accessed from three locations: the top, via a clamshell opening, and via a waterproof zip on the cover itself. In this compartment can be found a pouch for a hydration carrier along with a hanging loop and two ports, as well as 4 side pockets, and 4 further pockets in the cover. Externally there are two expandable, zippered side pockets, each of which has further storage space to the rear with compression straps. There are 8 rows of MOLLE on the front cover and 4 rows on the side pockets.
The Sentinel daysack is supplied with a padded, modular harness, a detachable waist belt, and extra padding to assist with both comfort and airflow. There is further padding (also for rigidity) in a slim compartment behind the harness, in which further documents could be stored as necessary.
Like all of CQC’s military equipment, the Sentinel daysack is hard-wearing, made from 1000 denier high tenacity PU-coated nylon fabric which has inherent waterproof and FR capabilities.
The Sentinel daysack is available in MTP, black, and coyote.
